Our second annual Summer Solstice Celebration was a resounding success. Roy’s piano and scintillating accordion opened our festivities, and he is a delight. Michael Kimbell with his wife Edie enchanted us with their viol de gamba pieces, and Michael and Elizabeth Lee finished their set of lovely piano/clarinet duets. Our favorite duo of Karen and Zachariah gave us a spirited set, including two Joni Mitchell pieces and a splendid spiritual from Karen. Wendy Loomis was amazing with her original piano compositions and her engaging stories. This was a magnificent day of music and dedication, and our community was given a heartfelt dose of beauty.
