On July 4th, I'll hold a peace wreath-making event at FOG from 12-4. All participants will be given a peace wreath frame, assorted greenery and wire to secure the branches to the frame. I encourage you to bring your own cuttings from your garden or a neighbor’s (ask for permission). Be creative. All sorts of cuttings work- the ubiquitous juniper is excellent–especially the narrow, longish boughs. I'll bring an assortment from the Flower Market as well as some lavender and nasturtiums from my garden. Let’s festoon our neighborhood with your peaceful creations and have some creative fun. - Peter
